morning all, got a random problem with me range rover. she has as usual been in constant use and went on 50/70 mile round trip yesterday without any issues at all. however I parked her up last night and went out this morning and car unlocked fine with the key fob, put the key in and it was going nuts!! wouldn't crank over and it was reading thru faults like, gearbox failure, engine oil overheating etc etc? I havnt a clue whats wrong. any help would be greatly appreciated. btw its a 4.6 v8

Yep. Almost certainly your battery has all but died. Classic symtoms. Get a new one, as big as will fit; check the battery megastore site. Rangeys hate weak batteries. You'll need a good one for the winter.

Its a bit more expensive but I fit the diesel battery in my petrol V8. Its as big as you can get in the battery box and this has served me well over many years.
