Aren't Delphi the Oem manufacturer. If so could be cheaper to buy Delphi.

Ok so why do Thay range from £5 to £40 I mean I no you get what you pay for but it's a big gap

I suspect with things like drop links, it's pretty relative. You can get a pair for around £9 which i would hope last 2 years. If you then find a better quality pair for say £30 by my reckoning they must last over 6 years to break even. Of course this assumes you have the time to keep changing the cheaper links.
