had a leak top end which my friend tryed to fix, he took the first top bit off then the second bit which connected to a drive bar ? by a short rod,he put it back together again started the engine and there was some smoke so turned engine off, i dont think the short rod was connected to bar properly ! will the pump be wrecked or is it repairable ? RR is parked on double yellows! can anyone help ? ive got a limited amount of cash (2-400) and lots of nice driftwood art, im getting suicidle!!

why did you let somone do that ,tow it to injection specialist with good reputation and let them redo it if auto put transfer box in neutral then safe to tow

there are threads on here you can find that show how to get it back together. But very fraught to do it on double yellows!
