Do you mean pin 16? What year and engine in your car. Can't find anything around there with 16 pins. Wire colour may help.

wammy its same as mine 2000 v8 vogue thor engine ,, adams a friend of mine near the caravan ,I trierd various things last year but wont start ???? did full re -sync allseems ok but wont fire up , adam will give you all info ,,cheers mozz :):):)

The two white connectors on drivers side a frame it's the larger one of the two and the White plastic connector has numbers when the wires go in and the one has number 16 going into the connector but on the plug you put into it there's no wire it's green with red stripe

Come on, do you believe someone nicked a wire overnight? or what makes you think problem lies with that connector?

Answer Wammer's questions and have you had it on diagnostic:confused:

See adverts in for sale section: Burnt out crystal balls

Don't know what diagnostic was used but I've put on the fault I've been told to check the a frame connectors for problems so I've checked them and for the rest of it mozz told wammers mines the same as his engine and year wise on the dash it says engine immobilised press remote I'm sorry if I'm being vague but this isn't the first post I've done about this hope this helps

This is getting painful....

The white connectors in the A Pillar of the passanger side are for the EAS ECU to Dashboard centre console switches!

So lets make this dead simple:

What Year? - 2000 yes?
Engine? - Thor 4.6 yes?
Does the engine spin over but not fire?
Does it not spin over at all?
Does the message say 'Select Neutral' or 'Transfer Neutral' ??
Is the P lamp illuminated on the dashboard?
Have you checked the plugs for a petrol smell?
Have you checked for a spark at the plug?
Have you tried the EKA code?
Have you tried looking at the connection to the Crank Sensor?

Why check door outstations? they won't prevent the car from starting??

Transfer Neutral means the transfer box is in neutral....is there a fuse in position 11 under the driver seat? If so, remove it and try again...

If there isn't, what condition is your battery in??

Windows not set can be ignored for now, just try and get the car started first.

If you have a good battery and no fuse in position 11, but still have this message, I can only think the Transfer Box motor is either stuck, switch pack duff or the ECU is fried....

The P38 - infact any automatic - cannot be started while in a drive gear....if the Transfer Box ECU is ried, it may have spiked the gearbox ECU so it now thinks it is in a drive gear and has inhibited the starter...

Again I can only surmise, becasue you still haven't told us if the engine spins over or not...if it does spin over then, there is nothing wrong with the gearbox ECU....
