Where is the oil filler and level bung on the gear box?
Also is there any known faults with oil seals on the output shaft to the front diff?
It is a 97 P38 manual RR

Would be grateful any help thank you.

It's on the side of the R380 gearbox I believe, do you have a workshop manual yet?

Don't believe its a common fault, having the front output shaft oil seal fail, which is not to say some won't fail. Do you have an oil leak, because they are not that difficult to change if so?

No don't have a workshop manual as yet and yes there is oil leaking. My son had a look but couldn't see the oil filler or level bung. It is a manual gearbox. Just realised I forgot to add that to my question. Will pass info on and hopefully all will be well again. Thank you.
