Last week my 2003 RR started playing up when starting, so I put a new battery on it, changed the fuel filter, and it was fine for a few days. Gone out to it tonight and it won't start. It's turning over, I've checked fuel is reaching the filter and that's ok......doesn't seem to be a starter motor problem.
My key fob opens the car ok and locks it so I'm thinking its not the key. Does anyone have any ideas as it's driving me insane!!!

It's the 3l turbo diesel (BMW). The fuel filter is seated correctly and as I said diesel is getting to the filter as I took the feed off to check

Needs diagnostics, but my bet would be the high pressure pump. Saint.V8 would know more.

1. The In-Tank fuel Pump.
2. The Low Pressure Seciondary Pump
3. The High Pressure Fuel Pump.

But where is the high pressure one situated. Once the car is running it runs totally fine, it's just the starting thing all of a sudden. I would also add that I do get the warning that my batterys are low in my key fobs, although it's near on impossible to read the LED dash info as most of the pixels are knackered
