hi all a bit of help please pics if poss I want too clean the inlet manifold ?? (sorry not a mahanic stone mason ) so how would I go about this was hoping I could do today but need advice

Diesel you will need a new manifold gasket. Take off neg battery terminal 300 tdi take out the bolt securing the dip stick tube to engine and remove, remover clip holding inlet hose, and you may also need to unbolt the EGr pipe which connects to inlet manifold also gaskets, then remove upper and lower bolts holding manifold and take off manifold
200 tdi pretty much same thing

Not sure whether your enquiry is regarding how to clean it or how to take it off, but if it's the former, I had mine acid dipped with a load of other bits the other week and it came up like new.

Don't know if this is any good to you? You'll need to remove the exhaust manifold too, because there is one gasket that does both manifolds.

thanks for help guys will have to put up with sluggish till next weekend get the gasket will start soaking bolts in wd40 me thinks
