this week im planning to remove the rest of the body on my series 3 to bring it to a bare chassis and i was wondering what you would suggest to protect it thats not galvanise ,and isn't overly expensive but still does a good job i was planning to use red oxide as a base layer but then wondered what to finish it with that will last ,

smear it wee faeces - preferably that of a yak .....dont think it will help with the rust but it will keep the pikeys at bay !

if you got red oxide any blak pait will brush on

You can get chassis paint - works well, not too expensive!
