Hi All,

My name is Ken Davison and I live in South West Wales. I purchased a secondhand "Freelander V6 Prem SP A" two previous owners very low mileage. Well pleased with purchase BUT have one small problem.

Previous owner installed an auto cd changer plus a radio sat nav unit and had it removed prior to sale replacing the original. The original unit powers up and all the radio and cd functions appear to be working BUT there is no sound. Also missing is the owners audio system manual but at a guess some sort of adapter for linking in speakers is either not connected or missing a bit.

On and off for the last couple of weeks I have been gently trying to gain access to the rear of the units and once again I am guessing the two small side panels are the answer. I don't want to damage the unit or surround. After much searching I found this forum which looks like the bees knees for Landy owners and was hoping someone could give me a clue on how to gain access to the rear of units.

Yes But those small side panels are the same cream colour used for this forums skin
