Glad you got it sorted. I was going to ask whether you were sure it was the head gasket or the rocker.

@Bakerstreet: Leaking water from the roof if nothing. I used to have to chip the ice off the inside of the windscreen on my old S2A. :)

Is it worth getting inward facing seats in my 90 or should I get a decent pair of forward facing?

jeez i grew up near the ox and plough pub at the other side of birch hill and used to knock about with a few lads from up there :D:D

Im from the Boro, well Smithy Bridge originally, so only down the road, Just moved up to Montrose now though.
Nice motor pal, ;);)

Cheers grimmer, I bet I've seen you out and about at some point, what do you think about the seats in the rear? Forwards or inwards?

Not sure to be honest pal, i took the load area seats out of my 110 because I only ever have the dogs in there.:confused:;)

Hahaha no problem pal, I'm sure I'll figure it out, I've got a dog cage across the bulk head at the minute, the missis says we need a place for kids😁😰

I am not sure - on the newer models due to changes in the rules - inward seats are no longer allowed and new Def's have forward facing....

Not sure how it works on a pre-rule change model if you can refit inward seats or not....

naah lad yer dont need to worry bout it unless its losing loads of oil through it such as a pint a week top up

and from an ex rochdale lad to another whereabouts are yer based mate as i can point yer in the direction of a fair few good garages and landy peeps over that way :D:D:D

My Australian son in law is an aircraft engineer specialising in turbo props. He says if theres oil on the outside it means theres oil on the inside and thats got to be good.

I love these quotes! "if there's oil on the outside there's oil on the inside"

I think my favourite is

"land rovers dont have oil leaks, they're just marking they're territory" hahaha

Must have been taught by the same tutor - he was from Oz...!!!

One from Ireland from a mate who lives in Sligo. He went to look at a 90 belonging to a farmer and asked whether she burnt any oil. The answer?
