hi can any one help i moved my car off the drive to find diesel is leaking from something behind the back drivers side wheel its cylinder in shape with some sort or electric block coupled to it...thanks for help

its the diesel filter, nip it up by hand for now, and get another one, as you should be replacing it as a service item anyway.

yes will be derv filter. if ya look up G. R. Green at hoyland he is localist landy parts dealer and lives on site so ya can nearly always talk him to selling ya what ya needs and filter is an easy swop out n e way so best to change it

yeah am sure we have been there before are they open all the time, and it figures why its been using loads of fuel this week

usually the leak is at the filter bottom's water sensor not the filter itself. This sensor is quite sensible and used to crack......check it and if it's cracked u can replace it with a new one or u can forget about it and leave the filter's plug on...........that's what i did.

or you could temporarily shove a bolt in the hole if it is the water sensor at fault.

careful when you change it you dont leave the center rubber o ring on the spigiot. they have a habit of sticking on and the new one wont seal properly if the old one is still there.

just a quick note to say thanks for the advice and my landy is now better after replacing the fuel filter.. the seals had rotted a little and the fuel filter itself was a bit worse for wear.. it was any easy change thanks

now get a zip lock bag with a small hole cut in the corner and an elastic band, and cover the filter up. then the next time you have to do it, you wont even get your hands dirty!
