hi! i just got into the land rover craze and bought myself a defender 110 station wagon last week. trying to get it renovated in the next month.. i've been looking for a colour for the paint and i came across this picture which i found absolutely stunning. would any of you know the paint code?
i was wondering if it would be nash green?

Hi Geraldine, welcome to LZ and hope you've found the colour type. Now get yourself across to the intro section, tell us all about yourself, what plans you have for your Landy and where you might be using it. Pictures of the Landy are essential, and of you preferred.

Should you venture into the "anything goes" section be prepared to have a thick skin and strange sense of humour. They are obligatory,

Should you have any questions about your Landy then this forum will have an answer, BUT, be warned, you should do a forum search first (not google) otherwise the old and crusty men who've been here since they bought their Series 1 brand new, get really stroppy and rip out their colostomy bags.

Hopefully some of the female members of the forum will be along to welcome you, before the testosterone laden gaggle surface.

had a good laugh while reading your post :p i think i'm going to survive the guys here :) but thanks a lot for the all the advice ;)
well just got it stripped down to the chassis, which is now being cold galvanized and should be painted this week (The engine has been lifted) then the rusty parts are being worked on. planning to buy a complete dashboard panel..the one on it isn't looking good. still looking for one online..seems to be rare!
the colour is still a problem...it's actually a greyish brown but can't find a paint code for it :(
got myself a list of things of things to buy.. rear heated window (which i can't seem to find), full light replacement kit, snorkel, headlamps surround and probably lamp guards as well (which i found to be GREAT looking! :) ), roof rack, and other little things like badges etc
and will probably get another list of things to buy from the mechanic as well :(
also have to decide about the tyres.. i like michelin xzl and the goodyear duratrac.. but maybe will have to settle for some 50/50 tyres...

well that's about it! :)

all of this is keeping me really busy but REALLY enjoying it all :) :) :)
