Hi guys this is my first post here although i have been reading a fair bit and this site is a a real tresure trove of info for things. So far from here ive narrowed down my hard to start on low fuel issue (in tank pump) and also sorted the dreded blend motor issues the truck had when i purchased it so thanks so far
New issue and as ive only had this thing 3 weeks its getting to the point i wanna burn it and claim the insurance lol. Central locking was giving intermittent issues not recognising keys and leaving me stranded was getting battery low warning. Replaced key casing and batteries and got locked out on display fecked around for about 2 hours then opeded the key again MISSING BATTERY CONTACT ON NEW EBAY CASING!!! very unhappy bunny anyhow made a connector stuck everything back together and car fires no bother.
My issue is....the car will lock with remote but not unlock with it when i open the car with the key it only opens the drivers door. when i actually open the door to get in car beeps once put key in ignition then the rest of the doors open.
take key out close door hit lock on fob car locks fine....but will not unlock from fob. If i lock the car with the key however it will then unlock all the doors with the key aswell so im really puzzeled as to what the heck is going on now are the electronics just thick or am i doing something wrong. It may be worth a mention aswell the main battery in the car was disconnected at one stage incase this has any bearing on it.
I was a mechanic for 9 years and have never came across such a troublesome car ever...but im hooked when it is going and everything is working its a dream to drive and as much as it drives me insane i cant seem to make myself part with it.
Any advise would be much appreciated guys as i am planning on keeping this thing for quite a while i want to keep it right and deal with any issues as they arise rather than letting them build up.
