Hello to all of you, I'm happy to be part of this group.
I've recently purchased a discovery 2 td5 and while doing all the job list I've noticed something pretty strange.
It's an 2001,
ECU: MSB101330
Engine : 15p
Head: AMC, Green injectors,
3 way throttle (acording to nanocom)
3 wire AAP sensor
Config. Tune ID : sttdp008
Fuel tune ID: sthde019
10p Fuel pressure regulator
Isn't it strange? I'm wondering how the hell it's working like this and to know what do I have to do in order not to blow up this engine. Thank you for your time

My guess is that it's had a replacment engine. The FPR for the 15P has an external return pipe from the front of the head.

Thanks. I know that the FPR it's having the return line from the head. On this car i believe that some previous owner replaced the block and the head from what he found. The code on the block is 15P when normally came out from the factory with 10p. Head is 15 (complete with injectors, rockers etc)
All the rest its 10p, like FPR, AAP, EGR, ECU
I don't know if I can find somewhere a 15p fuel tune to put into the MSB

The 2001 modells were just like that from factory, it was the transition from Eu2 to Eu3, a kind of hybrid with green injectors and MSB ECU , a strange fuel map for 3 wire AAP and 3 way TPS, let it be like that cos standard Eu3 fuel map needs a 4 wire AAP/T sensor and it will miss the intake air temp input and no logic to rewire the sensor as the ECU doesnt have the internal link for it. That's how it is, no stress, the engine will be just fine as long as the VIN is within the range shown for the MSB101330 ECU(from VIN YA288371 - to 2A736339)

Thank you very much for information, at least now I'm glad that nobody messed around with the parts. Does it worth mapping (chip swap) this ECU with a better fuel map? Currently the Tune ID is sttdp008 and the Fuel Tune ID is sthde019. Do you have any recommendations?

For sure a remap improves any standard Td5. Talk to Empire, Td5 Reborn, Storm, Alive etc… and see who can provide what you want.
Most now offer switchable maps if you want something sensible and something less sensible
