hi, i've seen a early land rover 110 td5 (1998) for sale for £10.995 it has 82.000 on the clock and looks in great condition. i've been told by a friend or two that land rover had trouble with the early td5 engines because of the electrics. so if any could help please email me asap. also is it a good price for a td5 land rover that age and millage, how different are the td5 engines to work on from the 200 300tdi ones ie serviesing them my self and doing some of the small repairs myself
so if any one can help me please email me
many thanks

if self servicing is somethin ur lookin for in a landy, i wouldnt go for a td5. instead I'd recommend the best 300tdi you can afford. You shud b gettin a real good one for £11k.

Don't know if you've bought a Defender yet, but if you are still looking, forget the Td5.
Go for a really good 300Tdi, they are out there, but you'll have to pay good money. The Tdi is much more of a DIY friendly Land Rover. Would'nt worry so much about age, just overall condition.
