Firstly introduce yourself in the new member section and then post a new thread in the section relevant to what type of vehicle you have. Some kind folks will then be along to help. :welcome2:

What's the vehicle and when does it overheat.are you loosing water.have you got any white sludge under oil cap or signs of oil in the water.there are many things that cause a vehicle to overheat.you will get help in this section or the section which relates to your vehicle.:welcome2:

Hello James, its a V8 Discovery, i had a leak from one of the engine core plugs so i put Kseal in the header tank and it sorted it, then i was doing a 100 mile trip and it started overheating and blowing water out of the header tank. it seems the viscous fan isn't working and i don.t know whether the kseal has caused this or whether it is a coincidence....

Hi, its a V8 Discovery, it overheats after about 60 miles, not loosing water until its boiling and trying to escape out of the header tank. most peoples immediate reaction is head gasket gone but i'm not loosing water,no signs in the oil,no white sludge under cap, this only started to happen after i put some k seal in it to stop a leaking core plug, but i have noticed the viscous fan isn't working properly and don't know whether the k seal has caused this or is it a coincidence........
