He just said the police are taking no further action and he is giving 100 pounds to the mountain rescue.

I suggested he keeps his head down for a bit, and then joins GLASS or an affiliated club, and does some trips to learn to do it right

My reply to him

Yes the situation is bad, but can you really blame the mountain rescue guys ffs. I asked if it was on a legal lane before I got help. If I had known you had decided to play on private land, I really would not have bothered. Basically you have now given the antis even more ammunition and possibly got yourself into trouble with the police. What you did was illegal and can get your vehicle crushed. What possible grounds have we got to complain about the picture.

There's loads of photos on fb - a few people from Hawkshead and coniston have put them up. My boss came into work this morning and showed me one from the guy at our local garage!

Guy is abso tool - go through the photo's on his 'unlocked' facebook and he not only off pistes in his RRC but 'normal' stuff like fiestas and brags himself up for it.
