This one is kitted out with everything you may wish to attach.
The reg number is appropriate going by the mot history, made me laugh though.
🤣 at the reg. bit out of my price range tbh I'd be happy with a standard one that hasn't been abused, that I could do my own stuff to as when I need/have the time to do it.

tips:

Buy a bag of tools, and make sure you have a big hammer in it.
Make sure you take that hammer when you inspect your vehicle, before you part with your cash
Buy a welder, a grinder, and a selection of sheets of metal, and you will never get bored on a weekend
If you are keeping the vehicle, and its a TD5, get a Nanocom, big investment, but worth its weight in gold
Get an insulated tea mug, a good torch, and a crawler mat, for the times it breaks down in the wet
Buy a bag of oil spill granules, as the thing will only stop leaking once its got no oil left
Get a bigger swear jar

If you find a galvanised chassis one buy it.

If remapped, most are so depends how well done.

Cheap ones are cheap for a reason.

Avoid ones which look like they ramraided Britpart.

Hello guys just a update went to view one no rot on the chassis or sills mot till July no history on mot check of corrosion throughout its life.
It's on 146k 03 plate auto with cdl has had some stuff done to it ie 2 inch lift and other bits it hasn't been mapped but doesn't look like it's been ram raided in to Britpart to quote MJI 😂.
only issue it has the three amigos how much of a rabbit hole will I be going down to sort that out? Or is it best to avoid? I know it's a common issue with them.

As with all of these, it depends what is causing the 3 amigos. It isn't necessarily a big problem. It needs diagnosing with some sort of decent dedicated kit.
Having had to fix this on mine I wouldn't be scared of it but it would be great if you could find someone with a Nanocom or a Foxwell to go with you to plug in and see what it tells you.
On here you will get lots of help with 3 amigos issues.

IF its the shuttle valve bypass it's a DIY fix for less than £100 . Effectively it's an MOT failure, what does the seller say about it?
How long has he had it?
Xyz switch is another thing which goes wrong on a regular basis with an auto.
Stick an advert up if you would like to.

Could just be that a hub needs changing.
Never had a problem with the XYZ switch but admittedly others have. Usually due to water ingress.
We could list all the problems they can have but that won't help you decide if this one is any good.
If the M and S lights aren't showing and it drives OK then no worries on that score.

I'd only worry about a fault that is there, not one that might turn up one day! ;)

Yes that's fair enough.
We had to do the shuttle valve not long after my son bought his D2.
XYZ switch twice so far.

If you drive it and hear a whistle sound that sounds like a loose auxiliary belt, but it isn't (after testing for it) suspect a warped exhaust manifold, which can be something of a pain to fix. Not so much the manifold itself, which will just need grinding flat again, but the fixing studs and nuts which may well have broken and need drilling out etc. Again this will be hidden under the engine cover. If it is absent, or the seller can be persuaded to remove it, look for soot at one or both ends and missing nuts or even studs.
Again not too hard to do but certainly a bit of a pain. Like many other D2 problems this one is a regular one. If you don't have it and buy it we can help you take preventative measures to stop it happening in the future.
