anyone good at fitting car stereos, single din to double din
I can have a go myself but seeing its Chinese need help with some of the wiring?

So when you say it is a single din to double din. Was the old stereo a Becker sat nav unit?

Ok. Those often had Harmon Kardon amplifier under the passenger seat with matching HK speakers and a boot mounted subwoofer.
If so, it's quite a lot of work to rewire. The HK amp needs feeding with the signal from the new HU. I'm not even sure it's possible to be honest. Presumably it is, but it's a fair amount of rewiring. Have you thought about using Road Radio, if they are still going?

not heard of them?

They are still going. Although they only have 2 branches now. One in Crawley and one in Redhill. The Redhill branch used to be the place to go in the 90's for anything car audio related.
I'll look into the complexity of a HU change when I get a spare moment;)

just looked them up and sent them a message to see if they can fit it for me.

thanks for your help..

Here's the wiring. I don't know if the new HU speaker outputs can be connected to the HK amp inputs. If not the new HU should have low level outputs too.
The wiring doesn't look too bad tbh.
