Hi guys, just a quick question.
I am still getting the noise from my freelander 1 when driving, it doesn't happen until after about 3 miles of driving but then it is constant and gets faster as the car gets faster and vice versa. It sounds almost like one of those bicycle wheel spokes that move or like something rattling in an empty tin, it is very loud from outside and also very annoying. I have no propshaft on it so I know this is not the problem, I have alsoput the car into neutral whilst driving quickly and the noise is still there. It passed its mot fine and so I was just wondering if it could possibly be the passenger side driveshaft??? The sound is coming from the passenger side front. I have tried putting it on axle stands and trying it but nothing happens then so really confused. The wheels have been checked and there are no loose stones or anything. Could it be the driveshaft and if so is it an expensive job to get done.
