you can get a recon box fer 500 quid, a 2nd hand one should only be about 150 - 200 quid. i dunno how much a selector fork is but yoiu will no doubt end up replacing all sorts of other bits as well, where abouts are you, there are loads of landy spares all over the country where you should get a 2nd hand box fer less than 500

well, its easier to just swap a gearbox, cos you gotta take the one out and put it back again whatever you decide. i dont know anywhere down your way but there are loads of lads on here from the south west so they might be able to help, the other option is to look on ebay but you are taking a chance as to the condition of the box if you go down that route, i would put a post in the general section asking fer landy breakers in the south west, someone is bound ter come up with somewhere. you need to know what box you got first though, how old is the disco and what engine is in it, then you need to know what box as there are a couple that it could be. hope this helps
