welcome to Landyzone mate.:)

YOU CAN STOP SHOUTING NOW!!!!;)

Whats your suspension doing? Is it stuck on max height? or is it not rising?

hi it's not so straight forward as staying up or down
first the back end went up as I was driving on the M 5

had the warning light for the tilt then the slow down to 30 mph
pulled over dropped the car down to access height

back came down but front was lower than norm still had tilt light on
turned engine off system check cam up ok tilt light off

drove off got up to 50 mph back went up over the off road height
warnings came on again
so thought I'd drive to the next services got stuck in traffic jam
for about hour bad crash
tried dropping car down back came down but front was lower
than normal
tried to higher car to full height front came up very slow but only
the nsb came up

then new warning system over heat will rise when cool
so I turned the engine off started it again dropped the car down

as I was stuck in the traffic jam I turned the car off to cool
about half hour later started to move off car came up to normal height
front end was slow warning system rising slowly
traffic was only doing about 10 mph
it was about normal height front little lower

traffic started to run normal got up to about 40 car dropped right down onto the rubbers
got to the next services had the tilt warning on and system over heat
pulled in the services noticed the height leaver control wasn't working
left the car cool for about 2 hours tried it again car came up back end very high front end
coming up very slow
warning came up system rising slowly drove the car around car park
dropped right down thought sod it had the car picked up

tried it next morning front would not lift back end very high way over the off road setting
so that my problem

thanks for emailing

I think Rimmer Bros do conversion kits: 01522 568000. good luck with it, sounds like a controlling module issue to me.

I have now bought a new pump and
front and rear sensors from Yeovil land rover
for £225 FREE POST think that's good let you know if this
sorts my problem out:):confused::D:hysterically_laughi
I RECOMMEND YEOVIL LAND ROVER:D:)
THUMBS UP TO NICK THE PARTS MANAGER
VERY HELP FULL:):):):)
PUTS STRATSTONES TO SAME:mooning:

Hi
Like Ellis I have problems with my air suspension, (although it's a Disco 2) although nothing like the category of woes that he suffers! My problem is I live in Spain and if you think UK Land Rover main dealers are unhelpful, you ought to be out here to see how unhelpfulness is really done!
There are loads of web sites with air to coil conversion kits but I think my problem, if I go down that road, is the reprogramming of the SLABS computer after the changeover. Can that be done, does anyone know, by an average grease monkey or am I back in the hands of the main dealers?
Any help would be much appreciated

at land rover or is it something else
please email if you can help:D

same problem as others above i am in that hell too but in the u.s , my 99 disco II drops when i am driving right down to the bump stops , man it hurts my ass, anyway , they stay inflated if not driven , but they go down without fail everytime i hit a bump , compressor is good tho it will re-inflate if i shut her down for an hour , but thats kinda hard when going down the hiway lol... height sensors maybe ?
