Hi please help,my key fob is not working, so thought maybe the battery needed changing, so went to lock the doors with the key but only the drivers door locked,
I can lock the doors individually but this is a bit of a pain especially when you are used to central locking.

Is there some kind of code to reset it or should I take it in to garage?

If your fob is not working then depending on what type you have (single or two button) depends what u do next, also your central is not working as it should function with a key in the drivers door.

thanks for the reply it must be the central locking as it will only lock the drivers door, I have to manually push down the other buttons

the fob has two buttons,
any ideas on what I can do to fix it?

Your fob is ok if you can re-mobilise the engine by placing it by the ignition switch, can you also still set/unset the alarm?, the alarm ecu controls the CL ecu.
As I said the CL should also function via the door key or by pushing down the door pin from inside.
First have to checked the fuse's are ok, if ok then you will have to remove the door card and check the acuator in the door by moving it manually as they can go faulty, it may only just require adjusting on it's fixings but that's a start.

I will check fuses tomorrow as that seems the easiest to do, will update if it works or not and then try the next stage

thanks for your replies

If the fuses are OK and the door lock/unlock switch(near the clock) isnt working either u better plug it in a tester.

WARNING: If u locked it from the door be aware to unlock it just from there coz if the alarm is set on "unlock only from the door if locked from the door" mode and u try to unlock it from the fob u'll get the car immobilised.
