Torque converters are always like a slipping clutch until the lock up clutch engages indicated by a drop in revs. The problem with the L322 is that the lock up clutch is designed to slip initially so it wears out and deposits loads of crap in the autobox.If the clutch isn’t locking correctly then surely you would feel this as symptoms similar to a slipping clutch in a manual ie engine revs and poor take off from traffic lights ect
