Hi all i'm way new to Landrovers and got my pride and joy .A 2002 Range Rover Vogue its really mint. But the screen in the centre of the dash went blank a few days before christmas. It seams to light up but its just blank and nothing displays.

I parked the car all was fine got up in the morning and iopened the door and the usual landrover logo did not display.

I dont think the screens gone but seems more of a signal problem or loose wire.

All advice is wellcome allthough i have a warranty it doesn't cover the sat navc system and am worried if i take it to a main dealer i'll get a new screen (good) with huge bill (bad) i'd rather exhaust all options myself first.

Thanks All

Help its driving me mad LOL cant see the screen to reset the speed warning buzzer that set to 4MPH LOL

cheers Rob

If it's the same as my 2001 Westminster, the speed warning is displayed in the Odometer display, not the Sat Nav display. Push the top button on the Indicator stalk and that should display it. Push again to cancel, or push and hold to change the value.

Cheers,
Ripface.

Do you have a P38 or L322?

If L322, am I right in thinking your are talking about the display for the on board computer? If so, I would not consider that a sat nav system, it is the on-board computer and an integral part of the car. That being the case you should be straight to the dealer and getting him to fix it.

You're not obligated to accept and pay for any repairs not covered by the warranty if that's what the dealer states. A good dealer should determine what is wrong and then talk about liabilities.

Robidoo,

Are you sure the display unit is not covered by the warranty? It's an integral part of the vehicle's management system.
