hi i have a p38 1999 4.0 carnt get it to take the eka code i know its right because ive used it before ive had some one look at it and they say it is the becm died on me a new one is to dear so if i got a second hand one with keys and door handel all so egnition would it have to be the same code as mine which is a ymc 106050 or does it just have to be a ymc thanks for your time:confused::confused:

h iam from leicester i can get all i need becm/key/doorlock/barral/just need to know if it will fit thanks for your help
 
how much does that cost all so i need a new key fob mines bol...... would it be cheper to buy the lot for 200 quid
 
pm irishrover he not far from you just now, he will tell you how much, he may even come to your house and fix it..

Sent you onther one....it looks as the previous one didn't go, plus I may have mistyped the phone no. on the first one
 
All well and good getting a replacement becm , kesy(s) and lock set BUT.....the becm may have come out of a diesel or a Thor engined car, may have been a manual transmission and there is a very good chance that the security code "Handshake between becm and engine ecu) will be different. The mileage stored in the becm will be different than that stored in the instrument pack and the odometer will go to the higher figure.
The becm still needs to have the parameters set in it to match your car.
 
hi thanks to j the range for telling me about john irishrover he came out to day and unlocked my becm started my range first time hes the man if only i new about him 2 months ago i would not have grey hair now thanks to u all...:D
