I was swapping out a bad battery (i have two) and i had forgotten to to the accessory power off. The wrench sparked once, but otherwise everything went smoothly. However, now my flashers won't come on in any capacity, and the electric tach, and EGT gages no longer work. i am hunting down and cleaning/firming up all the grounds i can. Let me know if you have any other ideas.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery again to let things reset?
You've got extra bits and pieces.. are they decent, did they go pop?

I am worried the gages may just be broken. The lights in them still work, but needles aren't going anywhere. I will at least try a hard reset. Can't hurt. The flashers have me a bit more stumped

Ok so far unplugging and plugging it back it didn't fix it, but we all know it is always worth a try. I did get my electric fan to start working by redoing the ground so thats a plus. Getting into the steering column and dash tomorrow. I can live without the gages. The truck is pretty well tuned and being any more aggressive is just silly. I do need to be able to tell people my tortoise butt is turning lol

I am stumped. There is constant 12v at the flasher in and out. I can seem to find the right lead on the stalk switch. After all this work is THIS what I am gonna have to pay someone for?

you think you're soooo smart :D. I just kinda mushed the whole thing together and I get power to the flashers now. they are just constant instead of blinking. It's a three pronged flasher unit but only two prongs are connected.
