the_wolf Well-Known Member Feb 24, 2014 #3 Test the output with engine running and then battery voltage with engine off. Check the small wire on the back of the alt is still attached and check that your belt isn't slipping

the_wolf Well-Known Member Feb 24, 2014 #5 When running the alt should be putting out about 14.4v. Could be why your charge light is on if its not charging sufficiently
