WOOOOHOOOOOO......

:D:D:D

Sorry you had to shell out for the SyncMate...but it would only be a matter of time before you need it....

As I said, the most common causes ar the Crank Sensor or out of sync....obviously that is only when the CKP is installed correctly...goes to show the AA don't always know what their doing...especially when he took it off, then put it on incorrectly....why didn't he put it back how it came off....???

No matter...glad it's sorted.

I think what happened is that he was reaching up to it and got it undone and it was all stuck together when he pulled it off, then the spacers fell off, so he must have thought they went in front.

I can see it better to work on because I have a two post lift. If only it had broken down at my warehouse.

But yeah glad its sorted, and thanks for your help.

Glad you got it going again but refitting the crank sensor doesn't explain why it wouldn't start in the first place. When you plugged in the syncmate did the green light flash or it stay on solid? Might have lost sync anyway and the AA man just added to your problem.

I fitted a new crank sensor the rac fella removed and cleaned the old one then put it back wrong, so when I fitted the new one I fitted it the same way he had.
