Hi All,
I am looking to help my stranded wife in her 2005 TD4 freelander which 'is making "horrible noises" down in Somerset (Hinton St George)

She's driven down there for a weekend break, with the MILand 2 of our dogs, in her TD4 (so some 5 hours away from home in North Lincs) and it's, in wife speak, making some "horrible engine noises" of which I have struggled to diagnose from a mobile on loud speaker.
I've just had the Turbo solenoid replaced, and given it a full oil and filters (crank case breather etc) service, fitted new silicone hoses etc and all has been well in the last 500 miles plus since

Is there anyone on here local to the area that you could reccomend for a "quick listen" before I enlist recovery and hire cars?
