Afternoon Everyone.

I have seem to be loosing water rather quickly from the header tank, I am topping up from half empty every three or four days.

I believe I have spotted the fault but I need some help to identify the part reference so I can order a new one.

It's (I think) it's a coolant pipe, I have pointed to it in the pictures attached, it's pretty obvious as it's the pipe with the corroded end.

I have tried to ID the part on the online microcat website but it's not easy and I don't know if I am looking at the right part.

I would love to get this done as it goes in for it's MOT next week, plus coming up to Christmas it's going to be hard to get parts.

Thanks very much in advance.

John

Guys your legends, I might as well as replace the pipe whilst I'm at it as it is corroded is there a reference for that.

Thanks again guys life savers.

John.

I think I have found it, I have posted a picture of a diagram I found, I think it's number 4 on the description, it's named as the "Throttle Housing Return Pipe".

Does that sound about right.

Cheers

John

You can just see the bypass done on mine by a previous owner, seeing as its a common failure/repeat failure at that bypass it with no ill effect with a bit of silicon pipe
