Hi.

Can anyone please have a guess at what the Blue plug in the attached photo is please? I've looked in the Haynes manual and there's no guide also searched the forum and can't find any info on my question.

The reason it's important to me is I've modded my cubby box quite radically and wanted to make a 'How To' thread, but first I need a 'finished' picture and I didn't wan to re-assemble until I know what the missing plug does!

Plugs underneath cubby box/adjacent to handbrake in vehicle.

*Black plug with black/purple cable: Cubby rear 12v socket/cigarette lighter power
*Green plug: Tailgate electric window
*Blue plug: ?????????

The 5dr MK1 Freelander doesn't have elec windows controls in the handbrake console, so it's not for elec windows and there's only 1 plug anyway.

Thank you for any ideas.

What's the colour of all the wires attached to the plug?
I can see Green, Black, Red/Orange and Grey/Red, which leaves one that I'm not sure of.

I'm thinking it's for the sunroof, off the top of my head. The colours look about right. I'm checking it now ;)

Why did the windows go up and down when I pressed the handbrake console buttons with little pictures of windows on them then?

I thought the 5dr only had switches on the cubby console as mine doesn't have any and the switches are on the doors in mine (MK1 facelift 5dr).
