Is this for real? Are they talking about keys or FOB's? Replacement keys are easy, replacement FOB's are not.Go to facebook and join this group.

WE CAN NOW OFFER DIRECT REPLACEMENT P38 kEYS EVEN IF YOU HAVE LOST ALL HOPE AND EVERY KEY YOU HAD. WE HAVE BEEN ASKED SO MANY TIMES TO MAKE A KEY DUE TO THE ORIGINAL BEING LOST WE HAVE TOTALLY MADE IT POSSIBLE.
So it's a con, it's not possible to self program the P38 FOB, nor as far as I know can the chip be reprogrammed by anyone else. In any case the code for any particular car would need to be known and if the owner has no FOB where would the code come from? HUF who make the FOB have the records. Here is what it says on a web-site pointed to by that Farce-Crook link.

The key has to be different from the FOB? It's true that you cannot have 2 FOB's with the same code.

I don't lock the POS..
No one in their right mind would steal one..
I sent my FOB away to be fixed, what was done was the chip from my dead FOB was transferred to a working board. However it still does not work.I've got 2 keys, one the fob works, the other is stone dead. Good news is it locks/unlocks with the blade...
So, who's cheapest to fix my dead fob then?
Fight, fight, fight
I think he takes the chip from your dead FOB and puts it into a working board.I'm not so sure about that. I'm pretty sure @MrSporty can clone fobs. I suspect he can intercept the rf signal and tell if it is key 1,2,3 or 4 too. If he knows that and knows how it is stored in the BECM he can probably work out how to program a keyfob. After that it is a case of whether it is one write only or not so new chip or not.
It's interesting, but it seems to replace an existing working or partially working FOB, no information on whether it can be set as FOB #1,#2 or #3.
