He couldn't find the plug were his hand held thing was meant to plug in. He looked under the drivers side by the peddles.

Sounds cool sorry for all the dumb questions I'm not technical. Well not on cars anyway.
So silly question what engine type do I have. All I know it's the 2.5 bmw.

Yours is Diesel, the others are V8 petrol, Thor or Gems versions.

Ok great.
I have to thank all you guys so much for your help. I feel out of my comfort zone with cars.

I don't have any of this stuff with my a35 van. It only has two fuses.
So will I have to order the edc version. I have just sent an email to them so I can buy one😄 looks like a nice toy

Quite likely it will save you it's cost in the first year or so of ownership:)

Just had some emails back from them and seen a few videos on YouTube

It looks like an great bit of kit. But it's got a hell of a price tag

What I might do is wait until my new sensor comes and if that does not fix the alarm fault message then fork out for this tool.

I was thinking if there are members in my area might need this tool also

Hi just another silly question
My air suspension is working very slow this last two mornings

Would the cold weather effect this because after a drive around its works fine. Or is it time to open my wallet 😂😁

Tired compressor seals no doubt.

Get the compressor out and disconnect the blue pipe to it. Get it to run and see if you can block the outlet with your thumb. If you can, compressor needs a reseal.

It wont blow your thumb off so dont worry but it should be difficult to plug the air outlet with your thumb riding a cushion of air!

Awww Schucks Adam, I'm blushing!! or that could be wind, yer never can tell these days!

We try to be a friendly bunch....Landyzone is not like other forums, we take the p!ss and have a laugh but the advice, help and helpfulness is second to none....stick around you'll get to love us!!

As for your fault, most common is the Ultrasonic sensor going bandy....I know you say you have unplugged and replugged it in, but that ain't gonna help if the unit is fecked!

First course would be diagnostics as this will help pinpoint the issue, but most common is the sensor!

Hi guys my new sensor came today I fitted it and I still have the message coming up (alarm fault). 😡

Its a second hand but the seller has put a warranty on it. I know I'm ****ing in the wind with out a dig tool but at the mo I can't get the money up together so I will have to ignore it I guess
