have got myself a Steinbauer box for my disco, plumbing it looks to be straight forward enough apart from a control wire that needs to go on the signal wire from the throttle pedal. Can any of you nice chaps which one it'll be on the ECU plug?

are you sure that box is compliant with the Td5 management? or is yours a V8...i can tell you which wire is as long as you tell me what does that tuning box expect there cos the throttle sensor on Td5 has 2 or 3 outputs and the ECU works by comparing the signals...i suppose that the box will need the growing signal which goes from 0 to 5V when you push the throttle as to make it's "emulation"...so tell me if it's Td5 or V8 and which MY(it's the one from the signature?) and i'll tell you the wire... just be adwised that it's not the best choice for power tuning on a D2...remap is the real way

thanks for the response, yes its a td5 the wire you described sounds like the one. (I need to change my signature pic as that's my last one, current is the same colour but not off road prepped)

the easyest for you is to splice into the wire from pin 12 of ECM black plug(white/green trace wire)...see attachment
