I've been researching various lightbars for my D2 but all I've found require some drilling into the gutter. Is it not possible to buy a bar which just bolts on to the gutter in the same way as a roof rack?

I've found this one from Paddock, but it is listed as a D1 bar...is the D2 different?

I've also found 1 supplier on ebay, but they don't post to Slovakia. I'm going offroading to Romania in about 10 days so I would like them delivered and installed by then.

Buy a roof bar and add lights.

One advantage of that method is they can be mounted further back reducing glare, especially if you have a bright/glossy bonnet.

Another potential advantage is I have seen a number of D1s with the front edge of the guttering torn up/twisted where a > shape is made between the lightbar and the A pillar which really catches vegetation.
