Hi Guys. Firstly im fairly new. I first used the site as a reference point as i bought a 2.5 v6 auto petrol, eeeek. Straight from the off i had problems. I noticed some oil on the floor where i parked. I'm a stickler for this sort of thing so had it fully checked and there where 2 engine leaks. One by the Cams, and another was on the rocker, so i am told, im a complete plank with this sort of stuff. So hence i wanted to get it sorted. I was told by my main garage it was a auto box leak so needed a auto specialist. I found a great guy who said, Nah,, its the leaks i described earlier. So he said take it to your garage and tell em what i said, or do you want me to do it. He did it and replaced timing belts ect that were covered in oil and worth doing while he was there. And i have to say it was costly, but is now sorted.
Then i had a strange feeling that the breaks were sticking. I took it to my garage and yep, discs , pads, and 1 caliper required. tut. So ok i think i have paid lots on this now but its sorted. Nope how wrong. The fella at the garage says, its juddering slightly when he puts his foot down. I said dont then but he seemed to think it may be prop shaft.
Also it makes a tinkling sound that has been diagnosed as loose baffles in the mid exhaust, BASICALLY GUYS..... WHAT THE FOOOK HAVE I BOUGHT. lol. I bought this for £2k, and a astra van y reg. 65k miles, and have spent near to £1 k in repairs in the first couple of months. Am i in for more pain or shall i get rid. I have to say i really like it, but divorcing the missus and loosing half of everything would be cheaper. Help me out, will i learn to love it or have to bin it?????
