hello all again firstly sorry for repeat question being asked but I have just received my thor 4ltr injector top seal`s and they have came as round o rings and my old ones are round in shape with flats on top bottom and side`s ,also my old ones leaked as I believe someone fitted fuel injector to rail clips upside down and over time lifted fuel rail off injector seal
I am lost as wether to fit these orings or just refit rail properly and refit everything and test and see

thanks nick

just tried to take picture and they are definitely flat but me phone died on me as I took picture
may be they are different type im not sure

As above.

We see it regularly in our hydraulic components at work.

injector 1.jpg injector 2.jpg as you can see they are flat and if you can see the clip on pic I is facing down as all of them were but I turned clip around and now it clip onto fuel rail , could this be the reason for my fuel leak or should I just fit o rings or try and get the old type injector 2.jpg and finally injectors don't seem to come out is it just pull on them hard or am I missing doing something else

thanks nick

I am not saying anyone is wrong just trying to make sure before I rip em all out and start putting it all back together

injectors should be pushed up tight then clip the "flat "goes around the injector and the slots sit over the rail lips
its best to fit all injectors to the rail then fit rail plus injectors to the manifold a soft hammer help by tapping the rail carefully fit the injectors to the manifold

I thought so someone fitted all of mine upside down no wondered it leaked
thanks for that now I know I sorted one thing
