Hello,

Just wanted to say hi. I've recently bought a L322 3.0 TD6 HSE with no service history or log of any work done... I got carried away oops.

So far it seems okay(?), there's a few bits I need to sort out. Definitely think it needs a transmission fluid change, the o/s headlight wiper doesn't move (which may be causing drain on the battery?) and there's no bass through the speakers - someone has previously fitted a touchscreen android head unit. Also runs cold, did some searching on here and bought an egr thermostat waiting to go on.

After I've got those few bits sorted and a service done I hope that it'll tide me over for a while as its cracking to drive. Potentially got a few £££ to spend as there's a fair bit of rot at the bottom of the n/s rear wheel arch and imagine that there's more hidden surprises in the rust department...

Thanks :) I'm already over there - found a piece of car on the drive yesterday which has turned out to be a bump stop thats rusted and fell off...

and so it begins

welcome to the green oval curse, get out get out while u can,, for if you linger there is no cure, ur days will be filled with broken down misery in the rain, hours under the bonnet or the vehicle. Evenings desperately touring the forum looking for answers or help.

offering advise to others and crying on other fellow owners shoulders whilst consuming your own bodyweight in alcohol and listening to nagging partner on oil on the drive, parts in the kitchen...

and when all your ducks line up on one or two glorious sunny days a year you will get to drive the wonderful vehicle

Enjoy it...pmsl
