Could still have been a V8 then? :D:D

I thought the V8s just leaked oil liberally from any seal rather than burned it? Ah, you mean the lighter petroleum fraction is also essentially oil. Caught up!

Pretty certain he had a DSE.

I have seen quite a few V8s that were copious oil burners. Leaking it and burning it is somewhat of a double whammy. :D:D:D

I've found one! Bought a nice p38 diesel Westminster! It was pretty difficult to find one! First question, what colour should the front grill be? Body coloured or just grey plastic?

I think on the Westminster they were standard grey plastic.....my big book of words is at home, if I remember I'll check when I get back tonight.

Yeah I can see that.

I don't mind a bit of spannering, hoping to get a half decent one though.

Welcome : We've all got half decent ones ..... it's the other half that's the problem
And don't believe everything you read in here : it is definitely not a village chock full of idiots....some of them are just a bit not right.

Or get yourself a proper one & buy a V8 'Classic' :oops::oops:
Either way, a Happy New Year to all - I'm off to a party (no, not that type - I'm too old!)
