Hi there.
I've signed up to Landyzone this morning, but have owned a 1.8 petrol Freelander for many years - bought it brand new in November 1999 and it's now done 110,000 miles with not TOO many hiccups! Just the usual clutch hydraulic failures, ABS faults ("three amigos") and a sprinkling of random electrical problems.
Sorry to have taken so long to sign up to the forum, but it's nice to be here now...
We're in Suffolk (UK) and I do most of the maintenance on the Freelander myself: In present company, I'll confess to being a bit of a petrol-head and we have a (rare) 1981 Alfa Romeo, 1974 VW camper, and some newer stuff - and of course the F'Lander which usually seems to just keep going when all the others can't!
