Hi guys,

This forum has already been a huge help to me over the past few weeks leading up to and following the purchase of my first Defender so thought I would join and say hello!

So hi!

I am in Harrogate and have already had a few waves from fellow defender owners driving round and wondered if anyone was on here? Im in the red beat up one thats just appeared in the area!
 
Hello,ah you have discoverd the wave what defender hasn't got a dent or two , I always carry a hammer they just don't look right all clean and smooth ;)

Yeah I am a biker as well so am used to the biker "nod" but didn't realise there was a defender one as well!

Yeah a few dents here and there is character! To be fair its fairly clean compared to some old farmers ones I looked at to buy.

I'm sure you will enjoy it and this site as long as you can take a joke now and then .

I'm what you might call an x biker I was a courier for years and has many a bike ranging from a kh250 to a more modern zxr635 but my days of bikes are over now I have my rangie that's keeps me occupied for now. Anyhow have a look around and enjoy reading or learning :)

Used to do a few track days myself but high sided at cadwell park at park corner and ended up being air lifted to hospital, kind of put me off after that!!!

Ew er yea they its not the falling off, its what you hit.
Although saying that did the bike highside and follow you :(
