Hello guys & girls, Just managed to buy myself a series 2 Discovery td5 ( Told the wife it was purely to tow the caravan) but in all honesty I have wanted one for as long as I can remember, just didnt have £33,850 when the model was new, as a matter of fact thats only £5000 less than I paid for my home back in 99. I am hoping to learn a few tricks and get advice off you seasoned veterans. I dont really plan on doing any serious off roading but my better half works as a homecare nurse and as we live in the wilds of South Wales (about 5 miles from the Brecon beacons) It will be a great car to get about in the snow and ice when called for. What I find so enlightening is the availability of spare parts and they seem to be very reasonably priced too.
Regards
Phil.
