I am new to Land Rovers, and looking to learn the proper care and feeding of my new baby so we can spend lots of time together. I have already invested in the Haynes manual, but I know that there is nothing more dangerous than a little knowledge...

Hello! welcome, make sure you tell us what you've got if you ever need to ask for help always a good start if we know what engine and model. i.e Disco 300tdi Diesel.... the natives get bouncy if they dont know key facts like that when trying to help you.

Thank you, she is a 1986 90 (retired MoD) 2.5na and she purrs like a kitten (a reealy big one) so far. I am just absorbing the info here so that if worse ever comes to worst I will know what to do for her.
