Well I've forgotten any latin I learned at school, but it's *possibly* a literal translation for I came, I saw, I broke-down - a wee play on the I came, I saw, I conquered.

Now you just know someone with a degree in Latin is gonna come along and point out it's totally wrong!

PS The Romans did give us sewers - without which I'd imagine cleaning the landy's tyres after a run would be even worse! :eek:
 
Hey ! I thought a lot of the rights of way you guys drive down in England where built by the Romans ! all we got from them was Hadrian's wall !!!!!
