Hi All

Just a quick message to say hello and what a great resource I'm finding this forum already.

I only bought my Land Rover (1989 90 2.5TD) last night and managed to have what I thought was a major issue on the way home from collecting it! As it turns out - with help from some of you guys on here and a friend who has had a 90 in the past we managed to diagnose and sort the problem (which was actually really minor) in no time this morning.

This is my first Land Rover 90 so I'm hoping to pick up lots of good tips on here. I've had a Discovery many moons ago but that was before I was into car DIY so much and it was never used in anger. I've basically bought the 90 to do a bit of field work (moving horse/sheep/chicken stuff about), a bit of towing, doing tip runs etc, but mainly because I've always wanted one

I'd also be interested to know of any good clubs in Yorkshire as I'm keen to try a few off road type days to see what the Landy and I can do.
