Based in you'll never guess where and tonight I have done the deal on a 1996 RR 2.5 DSE 149K miles. Looking forward to joining in. :)

Thanks for the welcomes guys. First impressions are, really nice to drive, when pulling away remember it is not a corsa - give it some wellie.

And then hear a faint odd sound and lights on the dash start flickering as the left side of the motor drops to its bump stops and the subwoofer develops an annoying hum whilst the door locks rapidly go up and down.

Welcome.

Deactivated? due to unwanted collapse two owners ago, would be a more accurate description. Dash states "EAS Manual" at start up. 18" alloys fitted. That is the only thing I know of that does not work.

Ullapool - Well today I've learnt where that is. Around these parts, and likely in Aussie too, a Hoolie is a wild party.:D

Well a good party here is a Ceilidh (Kale-y) a Gaelic word, pronounced Galic in NW Scotland or Gaylic in Ireland.

Tis a funny wee world....
