I've just joined the forum, and will hopefully be buying a Disco 300tdi this weekend.

I'm wanting to get into green laning and off roading. I've considered various trucks, like the Shogun, Trooper and the Land Cruiser. I ended up deciding the disco would be the best all rounder and most practical. Also, the wife wanted something that would still have a reasonably good level of comfort. Also, the Landy community seems to be the best of the 4x4 world, which was quite appealing considering we're saying good bye to the V-dub community.

I have seen a few about. We're on the edge of the Cotswolds near Chipping Campden. I'll certainly be looking out for local clubs or groups to join up with, so feel free to give me a shout if you're hitting some lanes (maybe some easier ones to start, lol).
