Welcome Gonzo, Just joined this forum today and thought i,d say hello..
I,ve currently got two Discovery 200TDIs . My wifes one is a standard, which is the second one i,ve bought her, and mine is sitting 4" higher on a Pro-Comp ES9000 lift kit and seriously nobbly 265/75/16s. Absolutely superb off road..Stick with your Land Rover..They are a vehicle that takes some time to get used too but once you get hooked there,s nothing else to march em..Take it off road up some legitimate byways and i promise you, you,ll be grinning like a Cheshire cat for the whole of the next week.:D

ey up beaker and welcome, there is rather a large contingency of wan... erm i mean members on here from your part of the world ;)

Steady on there Yella Fella Donnies not far from me..........................Oh aye s'pose your right.

Any old how hello Beaker hello, we was all Muppets on here a bit back an' I was Beaker, I think Yella was a sheep.

Are you old enough to remember a Donnie band called "Wammer Jammer" red hot R&B, when R&B was proper music.

Sorry I may be old enough (how old is old enough?) but I don't remember them - I have only been here 10 years - moved up from Portsmouth for a teaching job and haven't managed to dig my tunnel out yet!!
