Hello, finally returned to Land Rover ownership with a 2002 110 double cab. He’s lovely although has been authentically knocked about a little as a working vehicle on a farm and agricultural business. My plan is to maintain originality and gradually return to better condition. Chassis is really good but needs some protection for the longer term and looking into options available at the moment; quite like the sound of Lanoguard but not made a decision yet. Still looking over at the moment, figuring out where to start. Not in a rush but have already located a hood which was missing. A lot of cleaning and lubrication ahead plus replacement of glass seals which seem to have generally perished around the entire vehicle. Pleased to rejoin the community; living in Suffolk (previously Bridgnorth), originate from North West, working currently in Yorkshire (most recently Brussels & Amsterdam), family in Poynton and Fife. Best wishes to other community members on a rather wet January day. Here he is;

Increase the security. They're too easily stolen. Get a tracker anorl. Lanoguard looks like a good product. A number of peeps have used it on ere. Clean out the chassis with a drain unblocker on the end of a jet wash. Let it dry out then treat.

Welcome to the forum even if you've decided to live on the dark side in Suffolk it's a heck of a commute from there to Yorkshire where the wife is from.
A family surname is from Poynton, and one of my grandparents was born nearby, meanwhile a large part of the family live just across the water from Fife..
I think we may have spent a large part of our lives passing each other on the road.

Hi and welcome! (The most belated joining post after 2008!)

Nice looking Landy too. Make sure you invest in some decent security measures for it as they’re popular with thieves.
